Sony e-mailed me this pic!  Click for a bigger version.  This movie is going to be so damn cool!

Comics2Film.com is the perfect source to monitor the latest hoohah about "Hellboy"--AND watch DC struggle to pull their collective head out of their collective arse while Marvel milks the cow into oblivion.

"Maybe "Batman & Robin" tanked because...because there wasn't enough rubber man-nipple. Yeah, that's it! They need to be bigger!!! And sillier!! Campier!! People love the camp element!! That's why "Birds of Prey" was such a huge success!!"
--Warner Brothers Executive "epiphany"

But it's a good sign when the movie character looks like the comic character just stepped off the page.

(crosses fingers, hopes "Hulk" doesn't blow)

Dolph Lundgren

Isn't Guillermo Del Toro doing this movie?  I've never read the comic, so I have no idea what it's about, but I thought Del Toro did an awesome job with Blade 2.  So at least the film's in capable hands, and Perlman is cool too.

Once again, does ANYBODY has ANY idea if this film is gonna be released in South America?

What is this Hellboy film?

This is the first I've heard of it.

What's it about?

Someone told me that the studio executives actually wanted the fight scenes to have the cartoon POW!! and BONK!! on the screen like the TV show.

Well...crap. Comics2Film.com just announced that John Travola will play the villain in the new "The Punisher." ...What? Joey wasn't available?

Comics2Film also has some footage of a "Spider-Man II" shoot, showing some poor stuntman "hanging around" Central Park. I imagine the novelty of that sort of stuntwork fades very quickly--especially if you're gettin' a wedgie from the harness...

Mr_Vindictive

Never heard of the comic.

Anyone got a synopsis on this flick?

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

“Hellboy” is the central character of the comic, a demon summoned from Hell in 1944 as an infant by Rasputin, who was in the service of the 3rd Reich at the time (getting all this?!).  Hellboy manifests free will, refusing to be an instrument of evil, and ends up working for the BPRD in America (that’s the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Development).  The artist, Mike Mignola, has a very distinctive, dark brooding style.

I remember seeing in Newgrounds some kickass Hellboy short when he avenges the death of an(innocent)hooker at the hands of a wolf demon...

It´s kickass.
