I return!/What movie is this?

I've been off the board for a while. Seems like a whole bunch of new people round here. Dunno if anyone even remembers who I am, but I'm back now.

Someone asked me to identify this film:

i've been trying to find out the name of this movie from the 80's and its about a kid and his skateboard and that skateboard gets run over so he rebuilds it and it can talk and it has somekind of motor on it.

He dosen't seem the most eloquent of people, but if you know it I'll pass on the info.

Skateboard Kid is the name of the flick my friend.  The original was a childhood favorite of mine (one of those cheapo HBO flicks that they show during the afternoon).  It's still a guilty pleasure of mine.  Great little b flick.
