While wasting tons of money on "s**t film" I came across this little ditty. Knowing that ever macho David Carradine was in it, and Claudia Jennings had topless moments as well... the film intrigued me.

I was aware of many bad reviews it had gotten from some of the online reviewers and was ready for abhorrable entertainment. Oddly enough, I got a hilarious romp! The sound effects truly were the best thing about this film. Through many battle seens all youcan here for the whole event is zoom and room from the death machines and plastic ice sicile swords being wielded (lightsabres... think that).

This movie was truly bad but I thought it was entertaining. What did anyone else think?

I'm from Iowa too!

Cedar Rapids.

I love Death Sport!

This is a kick ass movie that was supose to be a part 2 to Death Race 2000 but as you can see, it is far from that, and in many cases it seems to be a very bad copy to Star Wars...

Death Sport is very good because it dosent slow down, and if there is a slow part in the film the bad Dialgue or funny one liner's does make up for it...

The intresting thing I do know about this story is that Claudia Jennings didnt know how to ride a motorcycle at the time and the Director has gotten very angry about that. Also, the film when thru a bunch of directors and most of the time durring filming the cast and crew were getting high and party more then making the movie. And David Carradine supose to break a directors nose the movie.

From Iowa yes, Des Moines? No.

Actually, I am closer to you than that. I am from a little town called Manchester which is maybe an hour away from Cedar Rapids.

From the clear plexiglas swords to the silly helmets to the flashlight disinigrators - lots of cheese.  The film really is not good by any means, but I remember it being better than Ken Begg found it to be.

Ken reviewed it lately as part of a little roundtable:

Sure its a bad movie... but I do enjoy the movie, almost as much as any high rated film...

I think its because its one of those movies that I have seen when I was 8 and back then and still today a big Richard Lynch fan...
