I thought I'd post the link to the trailer for this film in case any of you haven't seen it yet.

This movie looks f**kin' SWEET!!
I will most definitely be going to see this one!

What do you think?

I dunno...

I'll give it a try, of course.  It does look fairly cool.  But it also looks over CGI'ed and suffering from OM (over-monster - the occasional custom of cramming as many famous literary mosters as possible into one film, rather than giveing any one of them the screen time they deserve).

I think i had a different idea, it might be good. It just sorta has that "underworld" look to it. But what's the deal with throwing frankenstein and wolfman in there?! I thought i was in for a straight old fashioned vampire old world flick

You know, that's what I was hoping for, too.

Can't do that, though - even Hollywood must have noticed how badly pure vamp movies have done lately.

Stephen Sommers must be a fan of The Monster Squad.  Really though, this could be entertaining.  I'm of the opinion that Sommers' "Mummy" remakes are sort of mediocre, but he's shown himself capable of brilliant b-movie cheese with "Deep Rising," so here's hoping "Van Helsing" will be something more akin to the latter.
