I just want to make sure to remind everyone that Saturday on the Sci-Fi Channel is the world premiere of DEEP SHOCK, the giant, killer, electric eel movie! I’ve mentioned this one more than once here and now it’s finally time to see just how bad (Sure, it could turn out to be good but let’s be realistic.) it really is. The Sci-Fi Channel has a spiffy little homepage for the flick that almost makes it seem like it could actually be entertaining. Oh, here’s a funny quote from star David Keith regarding the special effects. “The eels were all CGI. I haven't seen one yet. I have no idea what they look like.” DEEP SHOCK is from UFO Films, the same people behind movies like DRAGON FIGHTER, ANTIBODY, and the PYTHON films, so he may be better off just not ever watching the movie.

Humm...another Sub standard flick. I rudder in fear of the possabliltes. Could sink to new depths of stupidity. Or, could be one Hull of a good time, and be the ballest think this weekend.
Now if they can sail me on the concept, they could conning tower me into it. But, if its dumb, it could be tube much to take, and touporpedo could over take me.
....isen't this where someone begs me to stop?.....

Are you coming to Schlocktoberfest? If so, I'll be the one waiting for you with a baseball bat, Punny Man! :)~

I'm currently watching this turd on Sci Fi.

20 minutes into the film, and no sign of Eels.  This is UFO's main problem.  They always start their stories too early, have a bunch of talking head scenes, throw in a bomb threat or terrorist action, and THEN they get to the monsters.

I predict they'll someone turn even this one into a mindless corridor crawl.

UFO, and Sci Fi channel for continuing to buy from them... suck me.  And then seek some true talent.

And they weren't even actual electric eels. Ugh!
