Sorry to post as a new thread, but I was reading the first thread when I got to the board, and I suddenly got an extremely ANNOYING pop-up window from Kazaa Platinum, and this damned thing really pi**ed me off, because it was a HUGE full-screen window that popped up and covered the window the board was in!!

Can you do SOMETHING about this? It's really annoying! (and Thanks for taking care of that last one I mentioned!)

And this time an email was sent to Burst:

Dear Burst,

   I had a complaint from my readers about a huge pop-up ad for Kazaa that was annoying them.  After some checking, I verified that the ad was coming up under this campaign:

   It is for "DSLVelocity Banner US & CA."  I have deselected this campaign.  By default, I do not allow any pop-up or pop-under ads on my site.  They are far too intrusive and readers HATE them.

   It only seems to come up once per view.  If you delete all cookies and then reload the page, it will come up again.

   Also checked the members forum and it seems a number of webmasters are upset over this ad:

   This is the second annoying ad that, by default, was added to the rotation.  The first was the "CheapTickets Expandable Banner" which obscured a portion of the screen when opened.  I deselected that one as soon as it was brought to my attention.

Well I do not know if this is one of those annoying ones but it has popped up a couple of times when I came to this site tonight. It even locked up the computer and I had to reboot it. You may want to check this out cause it takes up about two-thirds of the screen itself. I know you do not care for nor do you want pop ups on your sitem but it seems someone thinks you should have them like everyone else. Maybe they should be unindated with pop-ups themselves. A few good B-movie clips can't hurt .
