Cabin Fever vs 1000 Corpses?

I haven't seen CABIN FEVER. I'm just concerned that I my get a film like that horrible HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES that I seen last month. Which is the better film and why?

Cabin Fever is freakin' pycho, crazy funny, and hella gorey it kicks House's ass no doubt.

Thanks I was hoping that it wasn't some kind of film trying to capture only 70's B-style movies the way 1000 Corpses tried to do. Glad to hear more good things about CABIN FEVER.

Cabin Fever definatly borrows some ideas. It feels over all like Evil Dead especially when the Boy Meets World kid starts kicking ass, but there are some scenes that remind me of Dead Alive, and the movie has a very Night of the Living Dead ending. I was expecting a better than average horror movie, i wasn't expecting  to walk out of the theatre with a new favorite film.

I haven't seen Cabin Fever yet but I guess it all depends on an individual's personal taste when it comes to horror flicks.

I for one loved 1000 Corpses.

From what I've heard about CF, it sounds like my cup of tea as well.

Cabin Fever is better as a movie, in that it kept my attention for the entire running time, unlike 1000 Corpses, which even at less than 90 minutes seemed too long.

I thought the gore in Cabin Fever was better, and more shocking.
