So I'm sitting here at home watching "Cat's Eye".  (which I own & have seen many times)

I'm on the 2nd story called "The Ledge" with Robert Hays as the guy who's forced to walk around the VERY narrow outer ledge of a highrise building by a scheming gangster.

My question is:

Would you do it?

Would you do as the gangster says or would you try to fight your way out of it?

What thoughts would be running through your mind?

Depends on the circumstances. If there was no way I could fight without getting shot, then I'd probably do it. If it looked like I could get the gun away from him, then I might try fighting.

Trivia: The short story is about the same except that it ends after the gangster is forced to start walking on the ledge, with the hero thinking that he'll give him a little while then check to see if he's hiding on the balcony on the opposite side of the building. One of the last lines of the story is something like; "He may never have welshed on a bet, but I've been known to...".
