i know his demeanor is irritating, like he drank a bottle of wine and a swallowed a bottle of xanax...

but he does do some pretty crazy stuff. ever see that episode where he did the levitation? scary stuff...

I learned how to do his levitation trick when I was 6 by watching "Lamb Chop's play-a-long".
You stand on the front of one foot and angle it so the audience doesn't see it.  Lean forward, waver in the air, and come down HARD to make it look impressive.  Blaine films the audiences REACTION to this trick, then he hooks himself up to a levitation harness with an electronic motor.  The camera films him and the arm of a crewmember who just happens to wear a jacket similar to the audience member's.  Then they edit the footage together for TV.
That is not a magic trick, Mr. Blaine.  That is a camera trick, and a poor one at that.  You want magic, a saw a guy levitate his assistant on a BEACH.  Out in the open.  No stage, no curtain, the camera never cuts away, it's the sort of thing that requires real skill!
