THE GREAT NORTHFIELD MINNESOTA RAID (1972) - The film is alot different than THE LONG RIDERS, but you can see small glimpses of THE LONG RIDERS visual style in this one. It's not a bad film starring Cliff Robertson as Cole Younger and Robert Duvall as Jesse James. Robert Duvall plays a real crazy Jesse James compared to the Jesse in LONG RIDERS. The LONG RIDERS is the better film, but this one isn't bad and the differences make you want to look into the history for those details.

I saw this on tape about 15 years ago. I seem to remember that it was a decent movie.
