Sources have revealed that Evanston IL's annual B-Fest will open on the traditional 'last Friday in January', placing the 2004 edition on Jan 30 & 31st.

Aside from 24 hours of great/bad movies, you often get to meet various web celebrities/military personnel/new daddies there.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Who is planning on going. i plan to every year but still haven't made it. i got as far as evanston one year but ran into some trouble and couldn't make it.

this might be the year though. unfortunately, not many of my friends are as into the scene as i am, so i'll probably have to go myself if I do. it'd be nice to at least sit by some badmovies.org regulars.

It's a good this is an annual event -- any more often, and one might actually remember the agony that memory mysteriously transforms into pleasure and contentment.

Yeah, I think I'll be there.

As always, count me in, brother.  I get antsy to go back by about the time we get home, so B-Fest is always the highlight of my year.  Well, that and meeting Devin Townsend this year.  I'll have to start jogging now to get my legs in shape for "Wizard."

I'll probably take the road trip with Brother R. and co. to check it out.

Brother R. told me on our last road trip that he was dragging my ass there so I guess I don't have a choice!

We both live in Iowa so it's only about a 4 hour drive for us.

Unless there's an emergency or I can't get out of work, I'll be there.

Andrew

I always hope to be there, but Marine Corps' missions come first.  Unfortunately, if this NMCI transition happens in January for my unit (as planned) things do not look great, but I do have hope.

Dude, you're killing me

OK, here's the deal.  If you come in, I'll try to dig out that Jar Jar toy.

I don't know how much desperate an act I can make.
