We've all seen heads explode, bullets flying and aliens invading. But has cinema graced us yet with a realistic upchuck?


HEATHERS comes to mind: Even though we didn't actually see it happen, Winona had the sound and the bit of food on her cheek down perfectly.

Possibly MINORITY REPORT would qualify for best projectile vomit (watch it with that sick stick!)

Any other thoughts? what movie has the best ralphing?

It wasn't very realistic but Lardass's Barforama in "Stand By Me" was pretty good!

How about the longest puke scene?

I'm thinking of the one with that big guy in the restraunt scene. Monty Python for sure, not sure if it was THE MEANING OF LIFE. He just vomits for minutes and the waiter just stands there and waits for him to finish.

Again, you don't see, but Stifler did a pretty good upchuck scene in the first American Pie after he realizes when the white stuff in his beer was.

And , definitely, Mr. Creosote in The Meaning of Life

Way back when, in Brewster McCloud, when the "heroine" not only pukes head-on onscreen, then she forces her tongue into Bud Cort's mouth for a disgusting soul kiss 'to get the taste out' !

(Disclaimer:  Haven't seen the film in like 30 years so the above is based on what could be very faulty 30-year old memories!)

I know its not real, but theres an anime called "Kite" which has the most detailed vom ive ever seen for  a cartoon.........pees and carrots..........

In THE STREETFIGHTER, starring Sonny Chiba, there is a fight scene where a guy pukes. It looks like the puke has tiny pieces of carrots in it.
