I went to the theatre in 1982 and seen a movie that I have forgotten the name of it. They were in a small town along the California Coast possibly, foggy ?, and they are driving a car when they hit something crossing the street and they get out and find a human arm stuck in the grill, but who ever it was wasn't there when they got out to check on what they hit. Zombies are involved I think.

Anyone know the name of this 1981-1982 film?

The Burgomaster

This sounds very familiar.  Could it be CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD aka THE GATES OF HELL starring Christopher George?

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

The Burgomaster

Actually, I take that back.  It sounds more like DEAD AND BURIED, which I bought on DVD a few months ago.

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Thanks Burgomaster. DEAD AND BURIED is definately the film. I seen it in the winter of 81-82 and it involved a costal fishing village. Just read IMDB and I thought th movie maybe to place in California, but it was New England and zombies were in it as I thought. I'll have to see this one again. I remember liking it.

CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD looks like a good one. I'll have to put this on my list Burgomaster.

The Burgomaster

CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD has some interesting gore scenes, but it's just a run-of-the-mill Italian zombie movie with a final 10 seconds that make no sense.

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

If I find a decent deal on it for under $10 maybe I'll buy it some day.
