Son of Godzilla. Why isn't this one on the movie reviews list?

Destroy all Monsters is on the list.  Godzilla vs. almost all the monsters he ever fought are on the list.  Rodan and Mothra are there.  What about this piece of s**t?  Toho ought to be ashamed of this one.   Ever seen the one about the kid that dreams that he's best friends with Godzilla's son?  Godzilla plays a pushy father who tries to get his son to fight this big green thing that looks like a giant f**king green alien cat.  The whole point is the stupid s**t who dreams this stuff up is being bullied by one of the kid's at school and he has to stand up to him.  Before that though, he ends up taking out a couple of fugitives on the loose.  So he falls asleep in about 10 different scenes and dreams that he's watching the son of Godzilla getting his ass kicked until Daddy steps in to help.  Right.  Anyway, if you're in the mood for a really bad Godzilla movie (damn, that was redundant), watch this one.

Anyone think this qualifies for the list?

The movie you're describing is actually "Godzilla's Revenge" not "Son of Godzilla." "Revenge" was a great one to watch as a kid, but it's a pretty tough one to sit through if you're over the age of ten. It's best if you take it with the idea that it's entertainment aimed at six-year-olds.
"Son of Godzilla," by the way, is the one where a team of UN scientists conducting weather control experiments on a tropical island witness the birth of 'zilla's son (Minya, Minilla, "Tadzilla" or whatever you want to call him) and both father and son fight a trio of giant preying mantises and a huge spider. At the end the scientists lower the temperature enough to create a blizzard that forces Godzilla and his offspring into hibernation. Footage of the battles from  this was used extensively in "Revenge," though.
