Freddy's Revenge was SOOO terrible!  I couldn't believe it!  The part where the bird blows up! The Dad's reaction! SICKENING!  And the END!! I expected more from you, Englund.  I likie all of the others....The Director....WHAT A PRICK!
          Reply, so we can talk.

I luv dolma

hehehe, I know its awful. I have only seen the first and New Nightmare uncut. And F.v.J if you count that as a Nightmare movie too.

Never seen any of part 2, but heard it was awful. So was Freddy's Dead.

According to a buddy of mine who went to film school, the 2nd Nightmare on Elm Street was a homo-erotic movie.

the whole "I have something inside me that I can't let out" theme, the S & M stuff, running away from his girl at any given chance....all seems to support that theory.

No question though, it was a stanky film, no matter who the target audience was.

While on a journey, Chuang Tzu found an old skull, dry and parched.
With sorrow, he questioned and lamented the end of all things.
When he finished speaking, he dragged the skull over and, using it for a pillow, lay down to sleep.
In the night, the skull came to his dreams and said, 'You are a fool to rejoice in the entanglements of life.'
Chuang Tzu couldn`t believe this and asked, 'If I could return you to your life, you would want that, wouldn`t you?'
Stunned by Chuang Tzu`s foolishness, the skull replied, 'How do you know that it is bad to be dead?'

All of the movies that you listed are great....Freddy's Dead was a major disappointment.....
