>If we moved to Conneticut, we'd live in a mansion

I live in the suburbs in CT. Right now, it's like 12 degrees, a few days ago it was around 5. During the summer it gets fairly hot here, of course for me, hot is anything in the 80's or so. There's also the occasional hurricane, we haven't had one for a few years now so I figure we should be due for another in the not too distant future...

Hey Burgomaster, I used to work for Wang Labs back in their glory days and went to Mass quite a few times . I remember quite a few guys that worked up there that lived over in New Hampshire because of the taxes.  We used to enjoy being there in the fall and driving around, went  all the way up to Maine once to the LL Bean store.

I only stayed in Boston once back in 1983. I was up there for a customer service award and we were staying in the Copley Plaza Hotel downtown.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

I live in Dallas - I hate it. I'm stuck here. My immediate family is all in the area and in Austin/San Antonio area. Since i'm single it makes no sense to just pack up and leave it all..by myself.

What sucks? I've lived here 20 years, it's hot, too many storms and not enough winter weather. The traffic is horrible, the city has no character or history or scenic views, living expenses aren't great unless you wanna live in bfe. Overall the people are cold, particularly in the rich area's. I loved living in the philippines, tho i wouldn't want to live there now. And arizona was really lovely. I could easily enjoy living somewhere like flagstaff. I just couldn't leave my family unless I had a family of my own. Sad story, get out the violins

Plus there's too many rednecks here with mullets!

I like where I live.   I live in Lincoln. Delaware.   It's pretty much close to Everything.  In the summer it's nice to go to the beach and winter it's nice to be able to go out shopping.  This past summer I when out on a dolphin watch, it was pretty cool, got to see some dolphins up close, saw a couple cranes.  I got some pictures but the problem is I couldn't seem to get the digital camera clicked fast enough to catch the dolphins before they went back underwater.  Next time I'm taking the video camera.  I do enjoy visiting the different museum and zoos they have sort of close to here.  I've been to the Philadelphia Zoo a couple of times, The Salisbury Zoo and couple too.  It only takes a couple hours to get to Washington, DC.   I want to go and see the Smithsonian again.  I've been through 3 of the buildnings.  It more than likely would take a month to go through all the buildings and see everything, maybe even longer, but I think the trip would be well worth it.

I think computer viruses should count as life. I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We've created life in our own image.

JohN!!  (the christmas party that wouldn't die)
Then it wouldn't be flagstaff you see, it would be Trailerpark USA

What, they don't have trailerparks in Flagstaff?

Besides, not everyone matches a stereotype. For all you know, you could end up living in a nice little house out in the country with a screen door that creeks when you open it, deer antlers on the wall and a rusting car up on blocks in the front yard. You and your sweetie could shoot cans off the fence in the backyard while polishing off a couple six-packs and make your own jerky. :)
