Alien Lockdown is airing on SciFi on Feb. 7th at 9pm. Anyone know anything about it? The IMDB doesn't have much info on it. The ads show an attractive asian woman who is apparently some type of super-soldier and a rubber-suited alien.

Max Gardner

It has to be better than Alien Hunter.  Or Alien Fury.  Come to think of it, the Sci-Fi Channel doesn't have too great a track record with so-called "original" movies featuring the word "Alien."

JohnL

Just a bump to remind people that this is on Sat. night at 9pm.

They aren't advertising it , but  John Savage is in this thing, playing a geneticist I think.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

He gets top billing even though he's in fewer scenes than the woman or even the nerdy guy.

The ads made it seem like the woman and the alien were part of the same experiment, but they weren't.  I thought the alien costume was decent at least. The body was like the Alien, but the face was more like the Predator. They also get points for making it a quadraped rather than a biped, even if it was just a guy in a rubber suit.

Anyone else watch it?

I watched it.  The asian woman (Michelle Goh?) was interesting, although a name like Talon(!) is a bit odd.

Too many pointless subthreads or overused cliches, IMHO, like the entire beginning of the film, since the stone played an incredibly minor role overall, or the member of the team with double allegiances, or the eeevil general, or the insane doctor killed by his own creations, or ... you get the idea.

It was a nice little flick, but it was better when it was called "Alien" or "Predator" :)

Take it and run.

trekgeezer

Really wasn't that bad compared to some of the stuff  SciFi runs.

According to the cast, her full name was Rita Talon.

Earl Allison

True, but I only found that out somewhere else, the end scroll with the cast names only listed her as 'Talon.'

Eh, minor point after all the heaping helpings of cliche :)

Take it and run.

I'll bet "Alien Killer Fork" would kick total ass, though.

Everything's funnier with monkeys.
