If you're planning on waking up, please do it AFTER my tax return comes in.  I'd hate to think I spent an hour and a half e-filing it for nothing.

Everything's funnier with monkeys.

ONLY pretty good!!??

Only 99%?   :)

I notice my threads don't have much life because I only start threads about B-Movies I've seen recently and people only reply if they've seen the movie and want to comment abuot something special or have some other information related to the moviie at hand, which is a pretty narrow scope.  I just hope people are reading them :)

Going places unmapped, to do things unplanned, to people unsuspecting

I feel your pain, Freep.  I, too, have started posts on subjects I think are intersting, only to watch as they slowly but surely into oblivion.

Makes a man kinda sad.

I tend to reply to posts if at least one of four conditions are met.

* It's a movie I've seen and feel comfortable talking about

* It's a rumor about a movie I am/might be interested in

*someone wants a movie named

* I think I can be witty/insightful/useful on the subject.

Sometimes I see that someone else has made my point and keep quiet.

Sometimes I have sense and keep my opinions to me self.

You know how it is.

These days almost all my topics are OT - surprised the Cabin Fever one got any responses!

BTW - on that tax return, could we file each of the personalities as a separate dependent?

While on a journey, Chuang Tzu found an old skull, dry and parched.
With sorrow, he questioned and lamented the end of all things.
When he finished speaking, he dragged the skull over and, using it for a pillow, lay down to sleep.
In the night, the skull came to his dreams and said, 'You are a fool to rejoice in the entanglements of life.'
Chuang Tzu couldn`t believe this and asked, 'If I could return you to your life, you would want that, wouldn`t you?'
Stunned by Chuang Tzu`s foolishness, the skull replied, 'How do you know that it is bad to be dead?'

Pretty much a ditto for me.
Other than a flamewar warning thread I started I think my record is two responses.

I guess no one else has seen Spiderbabe.

Cullen

I haven't seen it, but I did hear it was quite good.

WOW
It's been a few months since I last been here. Nice to see some familiar names.
I only hope my wife isn't far behind in a return. 4 kids do take up a lot of time.

If God is watching us, the least we can do is be
entertaining.

I guess I am like Bmeansgood  - I lurk a couple of times a week, post rarely.

I keep coming back because there is always something worth reading.

Hehe...I post often, at least whenever I go online [sometimes everyday sometimes not for a while], usually they consist of lengthy ramblings that don't make much sense.  Haven't created a topic in a while, but then again, I haven't seen half the bad movies you folks have [though I'm getting there, just saw a funny as hell movie about a leprechaun called 'Getting Lucky' and when I get the time I'll do a review]

If you want replies, and don't mind losing credibility, just post a 'what's your favourite [insert genre] movie' or something to that effect.  Whilst alot of people will whine about why these posts keep coming up, and how annoying they are, here you are sitting high and mighty in the knowledge that you created something that actually got replies.  Kinda like a kid who got popular because he has a pool or something: no one really cares about you, but you can say you've got heaps of friends.

Personally, I don't care if this sort of topic pops up again and again.  The Board gets new voices, after all, and sometimes the responses can be quite interesting.
