Saw a preview for this before JC's GoM.  It looked pretty pathetic (despite being set inside a glass house - so critic's won't throw stones???).  In an opening set-up that seems lifted right out of the Nighmare on Elm Street Movies (i.e. junkyard filled with aisles of stacked cars) F. Murray Abraham is wasted trying to collect another ghost and a bunch of cannon fodder gets his house.  They get locked inside and the ghosts get loose and tear a lot of people up.

Looks like they took Castle's quaint haunted house/mystery thriller and turned it into a sequel/remake of the remake of House on Haunted Hill.  Even the tagline "Misery Loves Company" seems cut from the same clothe as "Evil Loves to Party".  I swear they must have gone out of their way to make the two look as identical as possible.

I might wait for the video of this one.

BLARGH!

Resemblances to House on Haunted Hill should be expected.  Both movies are part of a series of the Castle remakes by Terry Castle.

I note that the "reimagining" of House on Haunted Hill was better than I was anticipating, given the track record of the filmmakers.  13 Ghosts has got a whole new crew.  Good, bad, or ugly, won't matter.  Scoring big bucks on Halloween weekend?  It worked last year....
