From the master of low budget films, Andy Milligan brought his 57 minute epic BLOOD! (1974) to life. And I was finally able to obtain a copy of it. Though the picture quality was not "great", it was still fun to watch this rare horror flick that is considered to be Milligan's most highest budgeted film at the cost of $200,000 (his usual budgets were $7,000 to $10,000).

Here is the plot: Dr. Lawrence Orlofski and his wife Regina move to Staten Island and rent a small home in order to complete the experiments on a special plat that is carnivorous. But, we find out that Orlofski is really the sun of Lawrence Talbot (hint, hint) and that Regina is the daughter of Count Dracula! All this and Milligan's usual gore effects cramed into 57 minutes! Well done, Andy.

BLOOD! is an entertaining feature that finally proves that you can make a movie with virtually nothing. Andy, you are an artist.

Any questions or comments on this film?
