Today, weds,  I ended up making a trip to the local Best Buy store.  There they had Free DVD previews of the new Hellboy movie.  According to the back it's got - behind the scenes footage, trailers, and highlights. I don't know when they started giving them out, but there were maybe a few hundred left today. I'd assume it's a Best Buy exclusive since it's got the Best Buy logo in the corner.

You can get it free, if you buy something. It just has the trailer, and a short making-of. There are trailers for Spiderman 2 , Resident Evil, and 13 Going on 30.

Does anybody know when Hellboy will be available on dvd????? I need a month, date, year however long it will take???

Tilebreaker

I don't know when it will be out, but since it's a spring release it will probably be out in time for christmas. so October/November.

I don't want any special editon or anything just the plain dvd, no behind the scenes footage or special bonuses. I have heard it may come out in August?? But they don't give a specific date or anything. They said the special edition (which I don't want just the plain dvd like I said) will come out in Dec. But then there always changing the release dates for dvds!!! Oh well I'll be patient and wait for 5 months and see if it really does come out in Aug. I know what your thinking...."If you want to see Hellboy so much then why don't you just go to the cinema to see it?" Because I watched the Hulk in the theatre and it was bad! Poor picture and sound quality. And besides going to movie theatres for some reason I have a very hard time judging the movies to see if they were good, bad, excellant or a bomb. Can't concentrate with all the people and such a big screen to look at......weird......

if it helps, i saw the Hulk on DVD recently and hated it. it was slow, boring and the villian was stupid. I felt bad even paying to rent it.  I paid full price for Hellboy ($8) and didn't feel bad at all.

You're out of luck as far as getting just the plain ol' movie.  You'll have to go VHS for that.  Del Toro said that the DVD for people like you who weren't hardcore fans was still going to be 2 discs, and the one for the hardcore fans will have a 40-minute-longer director's cut and extras spanning 3 discs.  I love the way that man thinks.
