STRANDED: NAUFRAGOS (2002) - This is a very good Sci-Fi film made in Spain. It's not the same type action of films like MISSION TO MARS or RED PLANET, but really brings in some interesting questions about isolation and such. My local Blockbuster had a copy of this DVD. One of the best films I've seen this year. True Sci-Fi fans will love this good film. The acting crew was also from Spain in this Spainish production.

Hey, Neville have you ever seen or heard of this film?

You won't be dissappointed. Good Sci-Fi production from Spain.

Well, I had heard form this one, but all the reviews that I read panned it, said it was a bore, and, well, I though THREE boring Mars movies were enough. About the foreign cast, it is not such an unusual thing in Spain these days. The Fantastic Factory has made some films with mixed cast and crew, and some other studios are starting to do the same. I recently read in the newspaper Corey Feldman is doing some bizarre horror film in Spain, too.

I may rent the DVD now, if you say it is good.

P.S. Just noticed that the new film by trhe "Stranded" director Maria Lidón is suppossed to open in theatres this month. It is an adaptation of a controversial investigation book on prostitution, "Yo, puta", and stars, of all people, Joaquim de Almeida, Daryl Hannah and Denise Richards (!).

Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.
