we were talking about it in another thread, but I thought it would be cool to make a new one just for it.

if you havn't seen it, you should at least try to watch it...it's an experience.
I watched it because Rob Zombie said it was one of his major influences...man it's crazy.  If you get a chance, watch the DVD and check out the "making of" feature...Craven basically says the movie meant nothing, it was just him and his friends toking up and having fun...kinda sadistic sense of fun.

Rented this a couple of months ago when my wife told me in the video store that her mother made her watch it as a child as a deterrent to talking to strangers.


Pretty good flick.  Sadistic but dated.

i've seen it, its disturbing but i liked it, i watched some other show and wes craven said that he made this movie because of the kent state murders (what this movie and that have to do with each other, who knows), i think it had something to do with the violence in the world at that time, i also heard they made a sequel but it has nothing to do with this one???

i rented it because i had asked my mother what the scariest movies she had ever seen was and that was it and i am always up for a scare, havent found anything that has scared the crap out of me yet, still searching!!!!

I've never seen it. At one point I was going to rent it, then I read that all the copies available at the time were censored and I decided to wait for an uncut version. As the years passed, i kind of lost interest in it. I'd still kind of like to see it, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

it does make you think twice before talking to strangers...you should first ask them if they are heroine addicts before you ask for pot I suppose :)
