First, this Sunday at 9pm (EST) USA is airing the first part of a five part series called The 4400, about 4400 missing people who suddenly re-appear. I guess the rest of the episodes will explore whether they were abducted or not.

Next Saturday, 9pm on SciFi is the movie They are Among Us, about a possible alien invasion.

Coming in October on SciFi is Farscape: Peacekeeper Wars.

Coming in January on SciFi is Battlestar Galactica The Series.

Also, in December a miniseries Earthsea based on the Ursula K. Leguin  trilogy. With Shawn Ashmore, Kristin Kruek, Danny Glover , and Isabella Rossellini

Stargate Atlantis premiers on July 16, SG-1 Season 8 started last night.

They are Among Us  stars Bruce Boxlietner  and Nana Visitor.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

SInce I've recently read some of the Earthsea books, I'm actually looking forward to the miniseries based on them, first time I've said that about something on SciFI in a while.

Looking forward to the "Farscape" miniseries, since I was a fan of the show, but probably a little less so since they'll have spend some time bringing John and Aeryn back, and the whole things just a wrap up of the series anyway. If SciFi hadn't cancelled it in the backhanded way they did, the fifth season could have played out a long storyline the way the producers supposedly wanted.

I'm tempted to give the new Stargate series a try, just to see if they can created a new series I'll want to watch. It's been a while since SciFi has managed to do that.

I watched the pilot for "4400" and it does look promising. I'm a sucker for WPAMs and will most likely put this one on my TiVo list.

Cheese is good food. So are the movies. Not food that is, just cheese.
