SANTO VS BLUE DEMON VS DOCTOR FRANKENSTEIN (1974) - Fun DVD starring our favorite Mexican masked hero Santo in color as he teams up with Blue Demon to fight Dr. Frankenstein's Golem and henchmen. Some fun moments as the doctor performs a double brain transplant on two women. The dialogue was also fun in parts as Santo explains the obvious to those around him. The DVD has a Santo highlights from all his films on the extras part of the DVD that is very good. The whole film is in subtitles and color. It's an ok film, but not as good as SANTO VS THE VAMPIRE WOMEN (1962). Still a lot of fun watching Santo going out for dinner wearing his mask or driving around town. You also get two full Lucha Libre matches as usually in all of Santo's films.

man, santo (el hijo de santo, mind you) has a new movie coming out soon, if it isn't out already.

it's basically "santo fights the beaurocracy". it looks rediculous.

I've only seen clips of color Santo films, mostly from "The Incredibly Strange Film Show" years ago. Glad to hear they have a similar level of oddity and people acting like a wrestler who lives his entire life in costume is somehow normal or even noble. The b&w ones were always a hoot. I may have to find this one.

How about "Santo vs. the Minutemen", but I'd settle for "Santo vs. Sean Hannity". Or "Santo vs. Michael Jackson" since Santo has fought so many vampires and monsters in the past.

Santo Vs. Michael Moore....nah...no challange to santo.
Oh..Oh!...Santo Vs. The Rock!....hummmm....i'll work on that...

"Aggressivlly eccentric, and proud of it!"

"Ben Affleck, Kyria Sedgewick, James Vanderbeck, Amy Yasbeck, Harvie Lembeck, Dave Brubeck and Jim the wonder Dog in Santo verses Monta Zumas Revenge."

Ah, Art Fern how we miss ya! I still get a little misty-eyed every time I come to the fork in the road. But there's no way I'm taking the Schlosen cut-off!
