Having read several of these 'Theme Night' threads, I've come to the conclusion that what is REALLY called for is theme night for the entire "badmovies.org" bunch.

How about a a night in which we all, in our own respective locales, watch a given set of movies?  Or maybe a list of ten or so from which we choose two or three.

There would not be much point in it, other than the 'gee whiz' factor of knowing that folks all over would be watching the same movie at the "same time."

I'd propose the theme of "Rock Horror" such as:

Trick or Treat, 1986, (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092112/ starring Mark Price (Skippy of "Family Ties"), Gene Simmons as a radio station dj and Ozzy as a preacher.

Rock n Roll Nightmare, 1987, (http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0093873/ and reviewed here http://www.badmovies.org/movies/rrnightmare/index.html); I've seen this one numerous times and Andrew ain't kiddin, it's bad.

etc

Professor Hathaway: Up the voltage.

Ulthar, I'm suprised it's never been proposed before - having a big bad movies club where everyone is given the assignment to watch a specific title and then get together to discuss. I'd be game if not for the fact that blockbuster has terminated all the local video store shops in my town...and i loathe blockbuster and refuse to give them my money. My libraries might carry some titles tho. As much as I like bad movies I don't own many.
