Who WON'T see AVP because of it's PG-13 Rating?

"o_o; Dude. The idea of a Care Bears vs. Predator movie sound cool, because it COULD be just one giant gore-fest. The Predator(s) could even take a few Care Bear skulls and keep 'em as trophies. That'd probably be the R-rated version.

The G rated one would have the Care Bears hiding in fear as we saw explosions and heard some terrifed yells outside.

Eh. Nowadays, that might actually pass for PG."

Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of they could play hopscotch together and be all cute. I was kinda making a back handed statement about the PG-13 rating being ridiculous...I'll still see it though.

And yet you've hit on something intriguing. But there are really only three ways it could go. Either the Care Bears will teach the Predator a lesson about caring, and turn him into a p***y, play a friendly trick on him that has him slinking away in embarassment, or hit him with the Care Bear Stare (TM).

But I'd really be waiting for Aliens Vs. Strawberry Shortcake. Maybe a facehugger could attack the Purple Pieman, and the alien would have a big, purple chef's hat. Then they'd drive him away with Berry Talk (TM).

Man, I would watch anything in the 80s.

It's a challenge to find any good reviews for AVP. There are a few out there, but still, I haven't read any of them that sound too complimentary. Most everyone is trashing this movie, and not just for it's PG-13 rating.

It looks like Paul WS Anderson is fast becoming the next Uwe Boll. Maybe they should both get together and make a few terrible "straight-to-video" flicks.
