Early this morning, around 2:00 AM, I had the extreme displeasure of finally watching "Manos: The Hands of Fate", and boy do I feel horrible today. Dispite everyone's warnings, I still can't believe what I saw. It was worse than I ever could have imagined! There's really no way to put the horror into words.

Ed Wood's "Plan 9" is pure gold compared to "Manos".

I'm sure everyone knew this already, but in case you didn't, there are 17 actors/actresses listed on IMDB for having appeared in "Manos"... and 4 committed suicide. The IMDB is a great source for crazy "Manos" facts, but that one is one of the strangest.

Quick someone check Nobody for head wounds ! Well, you had to like the little song at the beginning while the family drove in the car.

This is one DVD that I have yet to exchange as it is horrible. The one I didn't like was the dude that meets them at the door. Only Ed Wood could have saved it.

Chopper

you might want to drink a cup of black coffee and take a cold shower now...don't worry it will be ok, not even MST3K could save this one for me.

Ash

I still have not seen Manos.

Sounds like I might need to get in shape for it...you know, me working out and watching tons of bad movies with the "Getting Stronger" music from Rocky playing.

That's the spirit!

At last you have found the greatest truth that is very well unknowen: Plan 9 is NOT the worst movie ever made.

Now it's time to sing the nation anthem IN AMERICA!!!

Without a doubt ASHTHECAT. MANOS will test you even more than MESA OF LOST WOMEN and THEY SAVED HITLERS BRAIN

Dave Munger -- Proof that it's a slow monday morning and I'm still half-asleep -- I didn't understand your post until I started mouthing it and suddenly I was thrust back into the static horror that is Manos -- NA nana na NA nana na indeed!  Hahahahahahahahahah.....

Yeah... To really appreciate how terrible this movie is, one really needs to see it without the MST3K commentary. With the jokes filling the empty spaces, it's easy not to notice that there's at least a five-second pause between EVERY SINGLE LINE. What's worse, this movie has finally made its way to DVD, where it sits in bargain bins with a minimum of warning labels and a dangerously low price tag.

It lurks in the rental bins, like a cobra with an overbite , and a realy bad attitude.

Only Joel and the bots made this tolerable.....that Tolerable with a capital T.
MAN! Wher was Ed Wood when we needed him?
Oh, wait...what year did he die?

"Aggressivlly eccentric, and proud of it!"

My wife & I are just crazy enough....

Yes, we own both the MST & unMST'd Manos.

In the unMST'd version, the driving footage goes on forever.

In fact, if you want to live forever, just watch Manos.  This one has the power to STOP TIME!

Scott

You'll notice that Hail Warren produced, directed, wrote, and starred in this film.

And, of course, sold fertilizer as his main gig.
