OMG! Secret Window!

Yeah I saw this instead of seeing Passion of the Christ. I mean Johnny Depp is a great actor but to do POTC and then this I don't think this movie did anything for his career or showed a different side of him. I mean there were bad supporting actors I love John Turutto but not as a scary freaky alter ego he did nothing for the movie and I still found his character to be funny! The movie didn't have a good background or plot. I did not understand it and I found it to be boring and bad. I mean the previews were decieving I thought they did not present the movie as they should of. Very dissapointed. I thought the director did not have control over the movie and its actors.

Well Depp isn't a struggling actor, his career is already made and he's well known for taking off the beaten path roles. In fact he very well could have had a career in different types of movies but he has chosen to stick with more risky films. Pirates put him on the mainstream map (because of this movie he will probably be doing more movies than usual) again but he's an inventive actor that really seems to embrace the characters he plays. I was really impressed with how much he reminded me of how roddy mcdowell might play the character in "Sleepy Hollow". Secret Window was a pretty decent film, although nothing memorable. I look forward to "Finding Neverland" this year...so far the buzz is very good.

oh - and johnny depp wasn't in passion of the christ.
