The new 4 disc extended edition of return of the king will be released soon,and it has 50 mins of extra scenes not shown in the theatrical version including extra battle scenes,mouth of sauron ,saruman and grimas demise and much more,i personally can't wait.

This one I'm really looking forward to, because the theatrical release really felt like an incomplete film.

The last 15 minutes dragged on and on. THAT does not need to be added to. Extended battles? Hell yes!

But when is the widescreen, extended edition trilogy box set coming out? That's what I'm waiting for.

I will buy this to complete my "Extended Edition" trilogy.  But, I'll be honest with you.  It took me 3 separate viewings to make it all the way through the extended version of "The Two Towers."  I guess I'm not a huge LOTR fan.
