I don't have any speakers here at work,so I can't hear the audio, but the visual of the trailer was disappointing to me. I was expecting something much more dark and serious. Burton seems to have gone the exact opposite direction. The scenes were extremely bright and happy, Depp was smiling a lot, and the acting seemed kind of goofy. Overall, it seemed like it was more of a parody of the original movie than an actual remake/revisioning. Hopefully the missing audio is killing the trailer for me- and once I hear it at home I'll like what I'm seeing...

I think that's the point - superficially bright and happy with a disturbing darkness just below the surface. It looks very interesting.
