It was on Saturday at 9- my god I don't think I've ever seen a movie so bad in a long time. Corey Feldman looked like a total moron trying to do that stupid raspy voice, he must need some drug money urgently. The puppet effects were probably the worst I've ever seen- everything looked beyond cheap and the frames were often sped up bizarely whenever a puppet would be moving. I can't believe sci-fi aired this garbage. I hate to say it but this is definitely the worst puppet master movie ever and I thought it couldn't get any worse with the likes of Retro and Curse, what a nightmare. Oh yeah there's a battle between the puppets and demonic toys that lasts all of 30 seconds or so and is pretty lame.

I use to like Corey Feldman in some of his past films. However, now I'm not too sure...

I don't like to call anybody washed up  because someone could easily say the same about me.

Things I liked about this movie: The cute daughter.

Things I disliked about this movie: Everything else!

They didn't even bother trying to hide the strings in most of the non-stop motion puppet scenes. Also, I can't put my finger on it, but the puppets didn't look quite the same, even at the beginning. Maybe it's just my imagination...

This was beyond bad. Feldman is how old? He plays an old man with a daughter that looked too old to be his. I loved the voice...he was ok in The Lost Boys but other than that, I have a problem watching him.
The puppets, as JohnL said, had visible strings. You could see them in the first scene where they were all standing in a line...even my wife noticed that and she is dense when it comes to picking things like that out.
I believe the movie had potential as I actually like most of the Puppet Master movies but this was just plain awful.

"Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys is one of the biggest wastes of time I have ever wasted time on. It may very well be the single worst movie the Sci-Fi Channel has ever produced and that really is saying something. There is absolutely nothing even remotely positive that I can say about this particular movie going experience and mind you, I went into this movie with absolutely no expectations of seeing a good movie. I knew it would be bad but I was expecting fun bad. All I got was agony bad. Given the concept and the tongue-in-cheek nature of the movie there is no excuse for it to be this awful."

Have anybody see the other one Dollman vs Demonic Toys now that was stupid they didn't let the beautiful Tracy Scoggins live.

StatCat

The reason they looked lame as hell is because the ones used in this movie were not the originals in the first few movies, just cheap knockoffs. Sometimes they would use stop motion animation in the other movies but this movie just used cheap clippy animation that was sped up to look beyond bad. All in all this is a new low for any bad movie.

It was very bad. I couldn't even watch it all. I just said "Screw that!" and started watching SVU. A Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys could have been at least fun. But there was little violence nor did it had anything worth to mention. It was just stupid. I blame everyone involved with the film.
