ok watever you do, do not  i repeat do not see this movie  under any sercumstances. It was possible the worst movie i have ever seen. What really made me mad was that they didnt explain anything .What i got out of this movie was that  six children haunted  the house of the people who live in it and they only come out when its dark. This movie also had a bunch of random moments that tried to be scary but where not. This even had parts that basically copied other movies. If you have seen the movie 'The Ring', when it was the next day  it would say 'day 2'. In the darkness they did the exact same thing only it said 'tuesday' or something. Also the noises that the ghosts make in this movie reminded me of the noises the demons made in 'Evil Dead'. It just blew my mind how much this movie ripped off other movies. They even  set up the ending so there would  be a sequel, like people would actually go and see it.Trust me, you dont wanna waste your  money on this movie, I did.The whole adience in the theater booed at the end.No lie

It was made in 2002, before the crappy ring remake.

My daughter works at the local cineplex and she said people are really complaining about the the movie.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

No question the worst movie in the history of civilization. It is so bad that I recommend that you go see it, so you can see for yourself just how bad a movie can be. They should use this movie to teach film students about how companies like Miramax don't concern themselves with quality. Always the dollar. Always the dollar.

No question the worst movie in the history of civilization.

Worse than Robot Holocaust and Equalizer 3000 and Abraxas: Guardian of The Universe and A.PE.X?   Whoa!

Unfortunatly saw this flick last night.  My wife and I drove the 2hrs to the nearest large megaplex to see White Noise which was only playing there. It was sold out, so my wife decided on Darkness being as it too is not playing near us.

It wasn't as bad as everyone has said.  It wasn't scary, but it wasn't that bad either.  It threw a few curveballs and I loved the final scene.

My biggest complaint is that it took WAY too much from other films. There were numerous scenes lifted directly from Poltergeist, Jacob's Ladder, The Shining, Exorcist III, etc.  They drew me out of the film a bit.

I do believe that if Dimension hadn't cut and raped this flick that it would have been a great time.  I would have LOVED to have seen some more mayhem in the last 15-20 minutes of the flick.  Oh Well.

But my 7.50 was well spent.  I'd pay upwards of 50.00 just to see Anna Paquin for an hour and a half. :)

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.
