I remember seeing a movie called "The big Lebowsky", in my Art

History class. At the beginning I start that the movie was going

to be about art a struggling artist who was willing to become a

good painter. Unfortunetly watching The big Lebowsky, wasn't

worth enjoying. Because this movie was to complex and boring.blah

blah!It only focused on a middle aged guy who a smart bum and
drinked a white russian drink with ice. He tries and steels money

from a old guy who's messing around with a younger women.

He enters the old guys mantion and at the same time messes around

with his younger wife just for fun. What a waste for this movie

to be made. It's one of the worst. I wouldn't recommend seeing
this film because there's enough foul language in bewteen.

My teacher said that he loved this movie it's the best.

AM thinkin' to my self please give a break!

It's not for everyone's taste, but I loved this movie also. Maybe I'm over thinking it but, I figured that it was a  spoof of all those movies (good and bad) where some innocent guy is thrown into a situation way over his head but he still manages to outsmart diabolical bad guys who actually know what is going on, save the day, and get the girl. Everytime The Dude tries to affect the situation, he makes a mess of it. Every instinct our hero has is WRONG. And his loyal sidekick, Walter, never listens but makes it even worse when he acts. The weird things that don't affect the plot are just the usual Coen brothers wackiness, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The dream sequences, the cowboy, and the marmot (?) in the bathtub were all just off kilter enough to make me laugh. And any movie that has Captain Beefheart on the soundtrack can't be all bad.
