THE RETURN OF COUNT YORGA (1971)

This is a fun, early 1970s vampire movie.  I liked it better than COUNT YORGA, VAMPIRE (1970) which is on the flip side of the "Midnight Movies" double feature DVD.  Robert Quarry plays Count Yorga.  He's pretty good in the role, but they should have given him a more original costume (he wears the typical Dracula formal-wear and black cape with red lining).  Mariette Hartley plays the main female victim, and I was surprised to see a young Craig T. Nelson as a plainclothes cop.  If you're looking for a light, fast-paced vampire flick that has everything from vampire brides to deformed henchmen, you might want to check this out.

"Light"? The massacre of Mariette's character's ENTIRE family is heavy stuff!

What I deeply love about the first Yorga is the clear view of the kleig lights & the lighting crew behind the vampires as they break through the glass patio doors!!

I really enjoyed both Yorga films. The way Robert Quarry would run towards his next victim was quite a sight.

Thanks kriegerg69 ! There is also the on the dock and I believe there was another scene on a balcony. The one your showing may be the balcony one.

It is, from the end of the film. The other one is Yorga charging down a hallway, his cape flying around him.
