PRIME EVIL (USA 1988)

Confusing story about a satanist sect that sacrifices people for it´s "lord".
Their leader is a clergyman who uses his dark powers to seduce and control women. A nun is sent "undercover" into this evil and conspiratory circle because the catholic church is already informed.
So the nun becomes a spy inside a satanist sect: she has to swear to Satan and she has to destroy a crucifix - "Ave Satanus (!)", she says...
At the final of the movie, during a sex orgy (plus sacrification), the nun attacks Satanus (a silly papiermaché-figure, horned and with bat-wings) who watches and laughs at the orgy. After being attacked by a nun, Satanus is dead...
Again the world has been rescued. End.

Ok, I expected trash and, yes, this is thoroughly trash. But I expected fun, too.
Scenes of unwilling comedy are scarce. There are to many too long and flat dialogue-parts.
This is simply a boring trash movie.

Yep, PRIME EVIL is a dud. It may have about 2 decent scenes and like you said the dialogue is way to drawn out like they are trying to stretch the film to make it 90 minutes. I saw it on my HORRIBLE HORROR COLLECTION from Rhino.

Been thinking about seeing another one of my HORRIBLE HORROR COLLECTION films tonight. Crown Pictures International really made some terribly boring films, yet each one has one or two moments that are ok.

They should have showed this "Satanus"-Figure far more often. It is funny to watch. I wonder if it is made of papiermaché or rubber...
