Slumber Party Massacre question & spoilers

Hello,

I taped this movie from a broadcast on IFC on 8/27/05. I was enjoying the movie and getting creeped out myself because I was home...alone...at night...when all of the sudden the movie seemed to jump skip to about five scenes and then the credits rolled!


SPOILERS..................


Trish and Kim were in Trish's room and she just hit the killer with the baseball bat when the scene jumped to the killer dragging a dead body by its feet, jump to killer pointing drill to Trish's head saying, "You were always so pretty", jump to body floating face down in pool, jump to credits!

It must have been my VCR skipping, right? I just know I missed crucial scary scenes! This isn't how the movie ends, is it?
