The beautiful Music Box Theatre in Chicago (near Wrigley Field) will be hosting a 24 hour horror movie fest, starting this Saturday the 15th at noon. They are starting with early stuff and moving on to harder material. The first show is Nosferatu, with live organ accompaniment, and that and Creature from the Black Lagoon are about it for the oldies.

Included in the line-up is Scanners, The Crazies, The Return of the Living Dead, The Howling, Near Dark, Two Thousand Maniacs and more.

Tickets can be purchases in advance, over the web, for $20. $24 at the door.

Live organ player you say? Are they going to play an original arrangement for Nosferatu or will it be one of the many already scored? If I didn't live 700 miles away in little old North Carolina, I'd love to attend. Sorry to disappoint. I give my best for the event.

You MUST be kidding me!  I spent most of July and August, as well as part of September flying out to Chicago from Boston every week to work at a client's office.  Now that I'm back in Massachusetts, they have this great horror fest in Chicago!  My luck is terrible!
