HOUSE...?

Anyone else seen this? I watched it with some friends and no one liked it but me. Anyone else like it? I thought it was a really good movie. Although while watching it I thought that the NAM flashbacks were tedious but they payed off in the ending.

Ahhh, the good old days! This is one you can sit back and enjoy anytime. Can't say I'm surprised that there are Nam references, just about every movie in the 80s had a Nam refernce or two. I miss thoughs days. This movie scared the s**t out of me when I was a little punk. I still enjoy watchimg it today. I crack up when he is trying to get rid of that one monster. Then later he flushes the hand down the toilet!LOL! To bad the sequals royally suck. Could have been an awesome series.

The limited edition anchor bay dvd with free copy of House 2 included, completely rocks my world.  I think you can still find it if you look around enough.  I prefer House 2 personallly (there's something about that worm-dog thing), but House is good also.

Yeah I saw the dvd with house and house two on it. I think I'll buy it next time I'm in the store. House Two Looks like it has more humor. Maybe I'll convince my friends to check that out.

It was decent...bit of an Evil Dead 2 rip off, but pretty fun.

1 and 2 are good but I don't know what happened to three and four was really bad. I remember someone mentioning on the old bbs that part three had another name.

..."Horror Show."  As I recall it, it was called "House 3" outside of the US and they kept the sequence going from there to prevent confusion.

Was House 3 any good? I'm going to rent the second one soon, And I've seen House Four in a movie store. Is House Four Worth renting?

I'd like to tell you, but I saw it a LONG time ago, and the memory fades.  I didn't like it well enough to ever watch it again.  That's about all I can tell you.

Basically, it's just a slasher movie.  I seem to recall it being like "Shocker," only better, but that could be a phantom echo there.

As for watching "House 4", I am the wrong person to ask.  I've been spending my life watching horror movies, no matter what quality.  To me, any horror movie is worth renting if I haven't seen it.

It's only afterwards that I regret...

The short version:
No.  House 4 is not worth the cost of a rental.  With the exception of an obviously-inserted body double boob shot, the whole thing is innocuous enough to be broadcast on the Fox Family Channel.
