Ok so I know that pretty much everyone here won't be able to go [it's quite the trip just to see a movie], but I thought I'd plug the ACMI cinema's [in Melbourne Australia by the way] new program on Monster films [obviously to coincide with the publicity around the new King Kong] and they have a pretty nifty line-up of monster films which you can see here:

What I'd thought I'd ask is what films to people recommend, since I love monster films, but have by no means experienced the large breadth of those out there to be watched, so which films are good?  Which ones should I stay away from?  What about suggestions of what they should have included.  Go for it!

There are some good Ape movies there. Not sure where CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON fits in, but it's also a good one. Oh, I guess it's about films that have a monster that steals a woman. Ok, in that case you have everything from EEGAH to KING KONG.

they are showing MIGHTY JOE YOUNG which is one of my favorites.

I'd like to see:

TRADER HORN
SON OF KONG
THE MIGHTY PEKING MAN

Ed, Ego and Superego

War of the Gargantuas?
Its sort of ape themed.

Konga? Time of the Apes?

Nevermind, forget I mentioned those. LOL

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.
