Slave of the Canibal God (1978)

This is a movie probably has never made it to TV in any form, but I could be wrong. The first 30 minutes of the film Ursula Andress is shown walking and sometimes running thru the jungle with her turn her head left and right with her tour guides (simply amazing). This movie was a film with the sharpest images I have seen in a while and Diamond Entertainment has a very very good copy of this film. The film has many shocking scenes that could have made it to Trials of Life animal series.They show animals being put to death like cutting open a live lizard, a python squeezing a monkey to death. Ursula Andress even gets attacked buy a python.  Also they had Spears, Dangerous Animals, Canibals, Midget Canibal, Ursula Andress (many times). Dummies falling off waterfalls, Island women, Caves, Andress eats the heart of her brother while she is tied up to a post, treachery, a pulsating brain, and many other odds and ends. The film is boring yet I some how feel it possible to sit through again, and maybe again. It must be an Italian film. Alot of Italian credits at the end. The pace felt so slow that the movie itself falls asleep before you get a chance. I'm going to give this film 4 out of 5 stars for no reason at all. This film is neither good nor bad. Please help. Please post your thoughts on this film that I have not  any real words for it. ****

I posted about this a couple of months back.  Diamond does have a good print, and for some inexplicable reason I enjoyed it despite thinking the entire time that it was the most boring thing in the world.  I think I gave it 3 slimes, which somebody replied to as being a little high.

Anchor Bay is releasing a new version with some scenes never avalible before (I heard it's pretty sick - I guy bangs a pig....not good).
