The Burgomaster

This is one of the best martial arts flicks of the 1970s. The plot is familiar (the top fighters from 2 rival schools whack the hell out of each other and everyone around them), but the camera work and fight choreography are better than most. Memorable scenes include guys getting their eyeballs plucked out and a guy getting his hands broken by two thugs with wooden clubs. A fast-paced chop-sockey classic! And I bought the widescreen DVD for only $3.99!

Use to own a VHS copy of FIVE FINGERS OF DEATH. Been picking up a lot better Kung Fu movies for $1 lately.

That reminds me of Bart Simpson's "touch of death".

"Accuracy" means a whole nuther thing with these movies. I have a hard enough time find accurate titles...

In the package is listed "The Black Godfather." It got me to thinking... when are they going to release a blaxploitation 50 Classic movie set?
___
Spongebob: What could be better than serving up smiles?
Squidward: Being Dead.

The Burgomaster

Scottie:

I am a big blaxploitation fan, and I would love to see a 50 movie pack. Although, I probably already have most of the movies that would be in the set. Blaxploitation is one of my favorite sub-genres.

I remember seeing a clip of this as a kid on Sneak Previews. There was a glowing effect on the fighters hands and (what sounded like) the opening music of the TV Ironside.
