This is one of those $1 DVD's that was definitely not a hidden treasure. I didn't think I was ever going to make it through long enough to see anything happen. The first hour is just yak, yak, yak. Believe me, the only real horror in this movie is enduring it.

The setup is a young widow living in the backwoods in a place called Hobb' s End. She is visited by an escaped serial killer posing as a local hunky handyman referred to her by a friend.  He has some kind of psychic ability to embody other's personalities by touching their things or wearing their clothes. He basically becomes her late husband (even sorta looks like him) but then later starts hearing voices and becomes menacing.

There is a guy in poncho lurking in the woods, which is supposed to throw you off, but he is just a homeless guy who ends up a victim.

The set up sounds good and the cover art (someone with a chainsaw following a bloody trail of footprints) is a also deceiving.  It must have been pretty cheap to make, basically it's two people and single setting for 95% of the movie.  It might not have been so bad with some more convincing acting.

Avoid this one unless you are a masochist.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

I've learned to never ask myself the question, "How can I go wrong for a dollar?"  The answers to that question have been surprisingly informative and encyclopedic.

Where'd you get your signature picture from?
Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.
