You Don't Mess With the Zohan

In general, I like Adam Sandler's movies.  From the comedies to the more serious films, I've usually enjoyed most of them.

The other day, I had the misfortune to see Zohan, which is without a doubt, the WORST film he's ever been in.
The first half hour or so was decent, but then it devolves into a crappy farce about his hairstyling career and a bunch of Arab/Israeli relations and "can't we all just get along" BS.

It took all of my concentration to stay focused on this movie.  Actually, that focus faded after about an hour and I shut it off.  Two days later, I finally finished it, though I wish I hadn't.

I don't know where to begin.  The awful story, over the top acting, Mariah friggin Carey!?  Everything about this film stunk to high heaven.

I'd rate this a half a star out of four and give it a big
Awful, awful movie.  Don't waste your time and money on it.  Heck, even if you have the chance to see it for free, I'd recommend against it.

Have you see Zohan?  If so, what did you think?

The Burgomaster

I saw this last summer at the drive-in.  I thought it was horrible.
"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Joe the Destroyer

It's too much of a one trick pony.  While I enjoyed my one watch of this film, I felt I would never enjoy it again.

Psycho Circus

I didn't like it at all, but it was nowhere near as bad as "Overboard"  :bluesad:

Torgo

I thought that the 1st 15 or so minutes were pretty damn funny but then after that I only occasionally chuckled for the rest of the movie.
"There is no way out of here. It'll be dark soon. There is no way out of here."

Shadow

I saw this recently and thought this was one of the biggest pieces of crap that I have ever been forced to watch. Awful, awful, awful. :hatred:

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Dave M

They should have just called it "Sometimes Shampoo Sort Of Looks Like Sperm, Which Is Always Funny And Never Gets Old". Every individual part of this movie was too long. Somehow, each FRAME is drawn out.

Neville

It must be a new low for Sandler, I mean, this time he gets upstaged by Rob Schneider in his own picture. Seriously, Sandler gets all the self-indulgent crap, and Schneider the only jokes that don't misfire, like the Hezbolla answering machine gag or the flashback where he sees his goat being kidnapped.

Between that and his directorial debut, "Big Stan", not being half as bad as you'd expect, I'll end up finding him bearable.
Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

Jeebus H. Christ, that sounds bad! I hate Sandler's movies and to hear a fan of his work say that is pretty telling...  :buggedout:
