MORE THAN A MIRACLE (1967) - Wonderful Italian/French co-production staring Sophia Loren and Omar Shariff in a story about a prince and a peasant girl. Kinda like a Cinderella Story, but so much more fun. All the location shots in Spain are beautiful. Very whimsical story with witches, flying monks, prince,  locations, music, and just a fun story. Sophia Loren never seems to make a bad film. Omar Shariff also does a good job in this one.

Here are the Sophia Loren films that I've viewed:

More Than A Miracle
Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow
El Cid
The Black Orchid
Desire Under the Palms
The Pride and the Passion
Quo Vidas

Scott, since you seemed to have been able to spot Sophia Loren in "Quo Vadis," which I never have been able to do, have you also been able to spot Elizabeth Taylor, who is also suppose to, like Sophia Loren, have an uncredited appearance in the film? And I also noticed that Italian Spaghetti Western actor, Bud Spencer, also appears in the film, under his real name Carlo Pedersoli.

Skip QUO VIDAS BoyScoutKevin I meant THE FALL OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE. Though I have seen QUO VIDAS it's been a while for both films. Mixed them up.

Another good Sophia Loren film that I've seen is MAN OF LA MANCHA. MORE THAN A MIRACLE has some of the feel of MAN OF LA MANCHA minus the music. Sophia Loren is good in both of these great films.

I've only seen parts of 'More Than A Miracle' twice. I always seem to miss most of it for one reason or another when it's been on TCM. It definitely needs to be on DVD!

Sophia would be good just reading the Rome phone book.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Even now she is sexy....

God, kill me.  I'm talking about a woman in her seventies.....

Then again, I was lusting after Cyd Charisse's legs when she was in her eighties....
