Should I spend money on this?

Wenn ist das Nunstück git und Slotermeyer? Ja! ... Beiherhund das Oder die Flipperwaldt gersput.

Only if you like bad CG monsters. It's really not a very memorable movie, plus SciFi channel reruns it a  lot.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Not on this side of the Atlantic, it doesn't.

I'd say, buy it if it's really, really cheap. 'Dinocroc' is some really cheesy stuff. But it's a bit better than other contemporary movies of it's type, simply because of the cast, especially Costas Mandylor, who even though he's Australian in real life, used a pretty fake accent for the movie. Plus, Roger Corman executive produced it himself.

It does have one sequence which I thought was suprisingly well-done - when the deputies are being called as the Sheriff guy calls out to them.  A sparkling moment of competence in the mostly crap film.

I read a piece on SciFi wire that Roger is doing a sequel for SciFi channel, only they didn't want the title Dinocroc II, so Corman said it would be called Supergator.
