Use to watch the Million Dollar Movie back in the 70's on WOR........

Million Dollar Movie

Anyone remember it?

What ever happened to WOR? I remember it was one of the original cable superstations with WGN and WTBS.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

I think WOR changed to UPN or WB in the 90's. It was a channel from Secaucus, NJ that became a satillite channel around 1980.

They use to have Mets baseball, Pro Wrestling, Monster Movies, and THE MILLION DOLLAR MOVIE.

And the Cisco Kid and the Lone Ranger on Sundays. On a clear day in Southwest Michigan you could see forever...
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
Interviewer-"Does Dracula ever end for you?
Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

and lets not forget that WOR also had Horse Racing, Bowling for Dollars, World at War, Joe Franklins Show, Kiner's Corner and America's first Benny Hill viewings.

That music was so familiar.  Was it written just for the MDM or is it a clip from a classical piece?
