Ash

In one single day, I gathered over 20 + new friends on the Badmovies.org Myspace page.
For each new friend I add and refer here...you can bet at last 5 or more of their friends might join in on the fun!
It's cool!
I love me some good company.

It''s lookin' pretty good so far.

I totally revamped the page and added some cool & twisted music to the mix.
The Lurker count went from less than 10 to 100+  in one day!

Yo...you lurkers out there...feel free to register and speak your mind!
We need you!
Registering here is free.
Come on and join in on the fun!

If I get the time and inspiration ASHTHECAT I'll start building up my "MYSPACE" website.

You can keep track of your traffic?

Ash

Scott,
Yep, you sure can keep track of your traffic.
Well, it shows you how many page visits you've had but it doesn't show you who visited it.

I thought you already had your own page.
You mentioned something about it a few weeks back.
And you can call me Ash.  No need to spell out my entire screen name.  Lol!

I left comments and thanked each person that added Badmovies.org as a friend and the lurker count here shot through the roof.
We've had an average lurker count of 10-25 people for months.
What a difference it made by getting Badmovies.org's presence out there on Myspace!

There's some pretty sweet pages out there.
Along with Mr. Lobo, there's a bunch of really cool B-movie/Horror hosts.
There's also this entire subgenre of horror bands such as Horror of '59 and Nuke & the Living Dead.
Turns out the guys from Horror of 59 have been checking out this site for awhile now.
I also added Dog the Bounty Hunter and Elvira...yes THE Elvira! (she has her own Myspace page)
I tried to add as many of them as possible.
Our page had like 20 friends...now we have over 50.  I'll be adding more soon.
I just wish you could show more of the friends on the main page.  It only lets you show up to 24.

As for the Badmovies.org page, it still needs a bit of work done on it yet.
It's far from being complete.
I added some of Andrew's humorous banners and tweaked the page colors a bitso that it more closely resembles this site's own colors.
I also changed the name to just "Badmovies.org".

Check it out sometime!

Scott

ASHTHECAT I'll have to check out Mr. Lobo's site later. Haven't been able to figure out how to load a Youtube clip. A Myspace clip is easy to load, but what about a Youtube or Google video onto your page. How'd you do that?

Ash

Scott,
With Youtube or Google video, there should be two types of code available.
The URL code and the EMBED code.
Just copy the EMBED code and paste it into the box you want on Myspace.
You were referring to adding videos to Myspace pages weren't you?

Scott

Thanks ASH (formally known as ASHTHECAT). Will keep trying when I get a chance.

Bmeansgood

Wow ASH, I really enjoyed the link.  The "I think we're alone now" clip and the Queen clip were great.  I think Sam J. Jones might be Ashton Kutcher's long lost father.

Scott

I'm working on a my website this week with a link back to badmovies.org. Almost done.

Ash

Thanks for the compliment Bmeansgood.

The page still has some work left to do on it.
I've been putting it off because I've been busy selling some collectible antique beer signs for my parents on Ebay.
I put up an old vintage Hamm's beer sign and in less than 3 days it's already up to over $300.  I expect that it will sell for over $500 when the auction is over.
Check it out here

I'll also be adding different videos on the Badmovies.org Myspace page soon.  The same old ones get tiring after awhile.

I've been upating the blog with random reviews and B-movie spotlights of independent films on Myspace.
I recently added a link to Andrew's new review of Syngenor in the blog.

We have almost 80 friends now and over 500 page views in just a short time.
If you guys find any cool videos, please let me know.

By the way Bmeansgood, do you have your own Myspace page?
If so, add yourself if you like.
