Tonight starting at 8pm on TURNER CLASSIC MOVIES (TCM) they are playing 5 Undead films.

Turner Classic Movies: The Undead

White Zombie - Classic with Bela Lugosi and I believe the first real Zombie film.
I Walked With a Zombie - Nice little Zombie film.
The Walking Dead - This is a good one with Boris Karloff
Creature with the Atom Brain - Sounds like fun, but never saw it and it's on to late for me.
The Mysterious Doctor - Sounds interesting.

Starts in a couple minutes Menard and dcjohnson.

I have been wanting to see "Creature with the Atom Brain" for a while.  Will have to put it on the DVR's list to record.  Have to tell you, I originally got the DVR for Katie.  She could never watch her shows due to the children or other stuff.  With it she can sit down and watch the shows she really wants to see, vice whatever is on when she has the time to put her feet up for a few.  Recently, she uses it to record things for me that look promising.

Just read some good reviews that are right up our alley for CREATURE WITH THE ATOM BRAIN.  Looks like a rare one. Going to bed soon, so I guess that's two interesting films I'll miss this week. Will have to get one of those DVR some day. Missed FASTER p***yCAT KILL KILL last week.

By the way TCM is a good place to view WHITE ZOMBIE due to the good picture. Unlike some of the cheap public domain DVD's that might be out there.

Do those DVR thingamabobs work on rabbit ears?

White Zombie - Good movie, but I've seen about a dozen DVD's with this on it. I watched the Great Pumpkin which I hadn't seen since I was in grade school. Charles Schultz' material was never funny, but I always found the messages behind it interesting.

I Walked With a Zombie - I love this movie- the title sounds nice n' corny, the mood is good, and there are some great visuals (the final scene with the fishermen is really memorable). Val Lewton is an awesome filmmaker!

The Walking Dead - Uh, missed it. I got to sleep sometime.

Creature with the Atom Brain - I've never seen this before, but I was rather suprised and pleased by this one. Seeing the "Zombies" take a couple of grenades in the final battle was kind of funny, too.

The Mysterious Doctor - I think I saw this one once, but didn't bother to check twice... I think there was something else on I watched instead.
