He was expecting way too much.  If someone had taken his "buy it now" price the cost per disc was about $12.50.  In all honestly, he might have gotten a taker if he was asking $2 per disc, but that might be asking too much.  My LD collection has been going down at a steady rate as I upgrade to DVDs.  Most I have been donating and writing off on taxes, because finding a buyer is not usually worth it.  I still have about 300 LDs in my collection, because many of the films have not come out on DVD.

Ten years ago, he might have been able to sell it for that.
